Add an M3U playlist file
Import a playlist file from your Mac with the native file picker.

Use a local .m3u file as a source.
Before you start
- A playlist file on this Mac, an external drive, or a mounted network volume.
Steps

Choose M3U File
Click the M3U File card. The native macOS file picker opens.

Pick the file
Select your .m3u or .m3u8 file. Because SlothMate is sandboxed, your choice is remembered as a security-scoped bookmark plus the file name, so SlothMate keeps access to that one file and nothing else. The raw path is kept only if a bookmark could not be created, and is dropped as soon as one can be.

Connect
The file is read and parsed before the session opens. If the file is missing or unreadable later (drive unplugged, permission revoked), the Start screen offers Choose file again so you can re-pick it without losing favorites or rules.
Expected result
The playlist's channels appear in Live TV; a custom XMLTV guide can be added in Settings.
