Add an Xtream Codes source
Sign in to your own IPTV provider account with its server address, username, and password.
Objective
Connect an Xtream Codes account you own and land in Live TV.
Before you start
- Your provider's server address, username, and password.
- An active account. SlothMate reads the account status your provider reports and explains an expired or inactive account instead of failing silently.
Steps

Choose Xtream Codes
On the Start screen (or after clicking Add a source on the Welcome Back page) click the Xtream Codes card.

Enter the server address
Type the server URL your provider gave you, for example https://provider.example (a fictional address; use the one from your provider). Plain http:// addresses work too, with a warning that the connection is not encrypted.

Enter the username and password
Use the exact values from your provider. In this guide they are the fictional demo-user and a made-up password. The password goes to the macOS Keychain on this Mac; SlothMate never writes it to a plain file or shows it in error messages.

Connect
SlothMate checks the account, then loads your categories and channels, plus movies and series when the provider offers them. A profile card for this account appears on the Welcome Back screen, named with the optional profile name you typed on the sign-in form, or your username if you left it blank. You can rename it any time with Edit.

Optional: load the full guide
In Settings, the Guide card can load your provider's full XMLTV guide with one click (using the same account), or you can paste a custom XMLTV URL. The quick guide stays available as a fallback.
What it looks like
Captured from the real app over fictional data. No real accounts, playlists, or personal files appear.
Expected result
Live TV opens with your provider's categories and channels; the preview pane starts the selected channel muted. Use the speaker button on the preview, or Watch fullscreen for sound and channel zapping.
